GREENCROP IRRIGATION RAMP UP PRODUCTION AT NEW NORFOLK BASED IN HOUSE FACILITY

12 February 2026 News

In an ever changing supply line and with an increasing want for an in house control on product quality and cost base, Greencrop have now brought in more of their products for in house manufacturing and assembly.

The Norfolk based company is now fully designing, fabricating and assembling all their own clean water and slurry pumping equipment. The mainline being the industry leading GCEP125W clean water and irrigation pump. These machines come with the option of the mobile wheeled unit and also the static skid unit. Greencrop have made the leap to the new tier 5 engine for all its mobile pumps which is now the only legal option for any mobile irrigation pump today.

Greencrop have kept the door open with their non adblue alternative in the static skid unit pumps which come with either the 4 stage Caprari MG80 or the larger hi flow Caprari MG100 water pump.

“The team at Greencrop have been instrumental in bringing this change to the business but it hasn’t been without transitional pains” said William Skea, manager of Greencrop, appointed last year.

“Like all in house techniques, there is always pain to start with but in the end we can offer our customers a better quality product at a more competitive price.”

Greencrop will now be able to offer slightly more bespoke options and specs on their PTO slurry pumps and engine driven pumps. Specs include the all new control panel which allows easy user interface and remote control.

The in-house production approach also enables Greencrop to quickly adapt to changing needs, whether it’s a custom engine spec, towed mobile pump configuration, or pipework setup.

Backed by full technical support, spare parts, and servicing, Greencrop’s pump systems are trusted by farms across the UK for their performance, reliability, and build quality.
