GREENCROP SHOWCASES COMPLETE SLURRY & IRRIGATION SYSTEMS AT LAMMA

Greencrop returned to the NEC Birmingham for the LAMMA Show with a clear focus — demonstrating a complete slurry and water management system rather than individual machines. The stand brought together separation, pumping, application and irrigation equipment to show farmers and contractors how each stage works as one integrated process.

Central to the display were the Irrimec irrigators, supported by Greencrop’s UK-built engine driven pump sets. Visitors were particularly interested in matching pump output to reel performance to improve fuel efficiency and enable unattended running.

Slurry handling formed a major part of the stand, with Greencrop PTO slurry pumps and the SEPCOM screw press separator attracting strong attention from dairy farms and AD operators. Discussions centred around bedding recovery, reducing storage pressure and improving nutrient management.

For application, the stand combined Veneroni dribble bar technology with the Greencrop vacuum tanker, highlighting both tanker and umbilical approaches. Contractors were keen to explore low-emission spreading and fuel savings compared to traditional vacuum tankering alone.

Greencrop also displayed Kemper forage headers, including the new Kemper C30 grass pick-up header. The machine has been available as a John Deere-branded product for the past three years and is now offered in Kemper’s own red livery, giving customers direct access to the original manufacturer’s specification and support.

Across the two-day show, the message was clear: farms are increasingly investing in systems rather than single machines. By presenting the full chain — separate, pump, apply and irrigate — Greencrop demonstrated its ability to supply and support complete farm infrastructure from lagoon to crop.

LAMMA proved to be a highly productive event, with strong interest from both dealers and end users looking for efficient, integrated solutions to meet modern farming demands.
